What is the process?

STEP 1 - INTRODUCTION

To get started, email me your request with all the necessary information at the bottom of this page. Include details about yourself, the reason for the commission, the desired size and style of the icon, and any reference link. Also, let me know the date you would like to receive the icon.

*Keep in mind that standard size icons take at least two months to paint, while custom sizes may take even longer. This time frame does not include shipping time.

 STEP 2 - COMMUNICATION

  1. We agree on the details such as times, size, gilding options, and price.
  2. I'll inform you about my availability.
  3. You secure your place in line with a 50% deposit for large icons or a 100% deposit for a hand size icon.
  4. Payments made through e-transfer or PayPal.

Painting Icon

  1. I start the process and send you occasional photos
  2. When the icon is finished you make the remaining payment including shipping costs.
  3. I will carefully wrap and send the icon to you in the post mail.

Blessing

You will receive your precious icon with detailed instructions on care and handling. Then bring the icon to church for a blessing.
